Four-time GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist Boney James is coming to Trilith Live on Saturday, January 16, 2027, joined by GRAMMY-winning guitarist Norman Brown and two-time Billboard Artist of the Year Lindsey Webster. Together, the trio brings three of contemporary jazz's most celebrated voices to the stage for a night of smooth, soulful grooves.

Soul Train Award and a BET Award nomination, and Billboard named him one of the Top 3 Contemporary Jazz Artists of the 2000s. In 2024, James became the first artist to score 20 No. 1 singles on Billboard's Smooth Jazz chart. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts and raised in New Rochelle, New York, James took up the saxophone in fifth grade and spent his early career touring as a sideman with Morris Day, the Isley Brothers, Teena Marie, Randy Crawford and Bobby Caldwell before releasing his debut album as a leader, Trust, in 1992. NORMAN BROWN is a GRAMMY Award-winning guitarist, singer and composer who has sold more than five million albums over a four-decade career. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, Brown picked up the guitar at age eight and went on to study, and later teach, at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. He won the GRAMMY for Best Pop Instrumental Album for 2002's Just Chillin' and has since built a catalog that blends jazz, R&B, funk and blues, including two consecutive No. 1 albums on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz chart. Brown is also a member of the smooth jazz supergroup BWB alongside saxophonist Kirk Whalum and trumpeter Rick Braun. Guitarist George Benson has called Brown "one of the greatest and most articulate guitarists out there." LINDSEY WEBSTER is a two-time Billboard Contemporary Jazz Artist of the Year whose sound bridges jazz, R&B and pop. Her breakout single, "Fool Me Once," made history in 2016 as the first vocal-driven song to reach No. 1 on Billboard's Smooth Jazz chart since Sade's "Soldier of Love" in 2010, and she has since notched multiple additional Top 10 hits, including the chart-topping "Where Do You Want to Go?" Raised in Woodstock, New York, Webster studied at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts before releasing her debut album independently in 2013.
